Building self-esteem is at the heart of my counselling practice. I work together with my clients to challenge negative self-beliefs to nurture self-compassion and acceptance. Through a person-centred and strengths-based approach, I support individuals in recognizing their inherent worth and embracing their unique strengths, leading to a more confident and empowered sense of self.

Healing from trauma requires a safe and supportive environment where clients can process their experiences at their own pace utilizing evidenced-based therapies. My work with clients emphasizes emotional regulation and expanding the window of tolerance, helping clients reconnect with their resilience. By nurturing self-compassion and addressing past wounds, I guide individuals towards recovery and the rebuilding of healthy attachments and connections.

In my approach to treating eating disorders, I create a compassionate and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore the underlying emotional and psychological factors contributing to their behaviours. By integrating techniques that promote self-compassion and emotional regulation, I help clients develop a healthier relationship with food and their bodies, fostering long-term recovery and well-being. I work with individuals at any stage of wanting to improve their relationship with their bodies and can connect with other members of a treatment team in the community as clients request.
